Mortgage Payoff progress

Our payoff date is December 21, 2025 and as of September 30, NH needed about $49,000 to retire our debt. As of December 7, we have received the needed funds to retire our debt. For the first time in 25 years, New Horizon will be debt-free.


Now that we are stepping into the Day After Debt, additional donations in 2025 will go directly towards our upkeep and redesign of our building. There is a plan in place to install accurate wayfinding signage in portions of the building, retire some worn-out furniture, update the teen space in the cafe, and designate spaces for Information, Celebrate Recovery, Outreach, etc.

Big projects and updates happening the past few years around here at New Horizon. 

  • The NH Pavilion. Dedicated in 2023, our pavilion provides a beautiful outdoor space to gather near the pond.
  • Stage Painting. The main stage in the worship area got a new look in August of 2023.
  • Worship Area Upgrades. Fall 2024 - Summer 2025. A major overhaul of the lighting, projections and behind-the-scenes tech.
  • The NH Bus. Purchased in early 2025, our bus weekly transports people to Celebrate Recovery each Thursday and has taken our Youth and other groups on trips.
  • Firepit re-installed in July 2025. Ready for fire season and s'mores.
  • Office Redesign. In August 2025, the offices got a fresh look with paint and flooring. Stop in and take a look!
  • Lobby, Hall and Cafe Updates. Fall 2025. Long overdue flooring replacements and painting. Potential for new wayfinding signage and updated furnishing and lighting in 2026.
