NH MISSION TO HONDURAS

"Make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). We're taking Jesus at His Word and heading to Honduras, November 3-10, 2026.


International missions are a critical component of becoming and makiing disciples. God uses international missions to shape and form our heart, as well as those to whom we serve. It's a game-changer.

WHEN? November 3-10, 2026


FLIGHTS: Round trip from O'Hare Airport in Chicago to San Pedra Sula Airport in Honduras. Depart, Tuesday, November 3. Return, Tuesday, November 10. (Flight times and costs TBD.)


ACCOMMODATIONS IN HONDURAS: Hotel Paris, La Ceiba, Honduras.


WHO? A team from NH will join a 10-person team from Common Ground Ministrries (below). We can accommodate all ages (minors must be accompanied and supervised by a partent.)


HOW WILL WE SERVE IN HONDURAS? We have opportunites for everyone. Based on the interests of our group, we can be involved in the ministries below. We will all be participating, serving and sharing in nightly church meetings in the region.

  • Construction projects on a new church building.
  • Preparing & distributing food in the community.
  • Working with medical professionals to host a clinic.
  • Opportunties in schools, hopsitals, prisons & marketplaces.

COSTS:

  • $600 for hotel, daily breakfast & ground transportation (including from and to the airport).
  • $10 per day for lunch & supper.
  • $500-700 for flights (TBD).
  • Spending money.
  • Currency: Cash, Cash App, Google & Apple Pay, PayPal & credit card.

meet our host: common Ground ministries

A friend of NH & Pastor Mark. Common Ground Ministries has led worship for NH in the past, including our tent meeting in the back yard years ago. The men of Mardi Gras & our Indy 500 outreaches have worked with CGM for years. CGM is led by our good friend, Wayne Sanders.


CGM hails from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. They are involved in prison ministry, feeding & building programs, evangelsim, church meetings and crusades throughout the midwest.


CGM has been serving Honduras for 30 years. Throughout the years they have been building church buildings, hosting feeding & medical ministries, doing prison & hospital ministry, and leading special church services and crusades. CGM has an extensive network of ministry partners throghout Honduras.
